Beach House – Depression Cherry

I can’t remember where I first heard of beach house, but it was quite some time after the release of their first album. They kind of stuck with me for a long while, and they were a background staple of mine up until last year. Not that they didn’t deserve the attention of my foreground attention, I just never had the time to devote it to them.

I bought Depression Cherry on a road trip to Nashville to see what Grimey’s had going on, and since I knew it was in my bag, I listened to it in the foreground three times. I was infatuated  enough with it to go back and listen to the other albums in the foreground.

These days? I celebrate their entire catalog.

I see they will be in Cleveland soon. I will see you  guys there.
