Caribou – Can’t do without you

I think I probably found Caribou through the same venues that anyone else who finds great hidden music from, but I can’t seem to think of where that was at the moment. The album, like the song, is pretty much a smattering of infectious songs written with a keen sense of the idea of ambience.

The album pretty much does all the talking for the artists, but one interesting thing to note, Dan Snaith, the artist otherwise known as Caribou, has a doctorate in mathematics.

I would like to try on that musical and mathematical street cred for an afternoon.
